For as long as I can remember movies have been as much of a Christmas tradition as the tree itself. Needless to say over the years my family has accumulated quite the library of Christmas movies.
Of all the movies there are a few crucial movies that complete the Christmas season. I feel that the top five Christmas movies are best represented by a star. At the base of the star- Home Alone and the Santa Clause are the sturdy legs. At the wings are Christmas Vacation and Fred Clause, the movies that allow you to soar into the holiday spirit. And at the top of the star, the shining jewel of Christmas movies, Elf.
Christmas movies have a way of bringing people together. Whether it’s with your family or your friends, nothing bonds better than snuggling up on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa. And it is of no importance what movie it is that you decide to watch. Anything from a cheesy Hallmark movies to an Oscar nominated Christmas movie will do the trick. Its all about the people you choose to watch it with.
